Can a reading lamp have gadget appeal? It can when it has a sleek, stylish design, is made from brushed aluminium, sports four degrees of freedom of movement and uses the materials and principles of car break pads to smooth the response of its joints.
This is the description of the DKB reading lamp from lamp makers Louis Poulsen. Originally designed for the Royal Library in Copenhagen, the lamp is now available for the rest of the reading population.
